SUMMER MEN'S BASKETBALL LEAGUE
League will consist of 8 regular season games followed by a single elimination
playoff tournament. Your regular
season record will determine your seed for the playoff tournament
A team trophy and player t-shirts will be awarded to the team that wins the
playoff tournament
Individual awards will be given to MVP, Scoring Champs, Comeback Player of the
Year, & Newcomer of the Year
League fees are a $250 team registration fee due by Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at
7pm. Teams are also responsible for
$25 per game for Officials Fees
***This schedule is a revised schedule due to the mix
-up on the first schedule and taking into account the game matchups that were played on June 22.***As before, every team has at least 1 double header scheduled due to one of our teams having AAU tournaments out of town and in an effort to wrap up the season before Labor Day Weekend

SUMMER
2008 ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUE 
The Rossford Recreation Men's Softball season is approaching. Once again, our league will be held on Tuesday & Friday evenings. Game times will be 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00pm. Game times are subject to change based on registration numbers, field availability, and weather. All games will be played at Veterans Memorial Park.
ROSSFORD MEN'S SOFTBALL LEAGUE RULES
1) Sanction Association: U.S.S.S.A. League will follow U.S.S.S.A. Rules with the following exceptions:
-Teams can start and finish with 9 players and add a 10th man at the end of any complete inning
-If starting with 11th man, teams can drop to 10 or 9 with the penalty of an "out" every time that player misses an at bat
2) Leagues and teams will be classified U.S.S.S.A. Class D
3) Ejection from any game for any reason will carry with it a one game suspension-Next league game. Any ejection for fighting will be reviewed by the league office for further action
4) No steel cleats-no exceptions, automatic ejection
5) Abusive language or profanity and taunting will not be tolerated in this league and will lead to an automatic ejection
6) Any thrown bat will result in an automatic ejection
7) Forfeit: Team's forfeiting will pay both umpires. Payment must be made prior to playing the next game or teams will forfeit again until fees are paid
8) Grace period of 10 minutes from scheduled start times (for first game only)
9) Protests may be for rule interpretations only and turned in by 4pm the next day, along with a non-refundable protest fee of $25
10) Teams are permitted to carry 20 players on each roster. Rosters are final on June 13th. Additions and deletions may be made until that day
11) Non-resident fees are included in league fees
12) No innings may begin after 11:15pm. Lights will be turned off at 11:30pm
13) No alcoholic beverages will be permitted in the field or dugout area
14) All wires and poles are considered in play and balls striking them are a double if below top of fence and a home run if above the fence
15) In the absence of an official scorer, the home team's book will be considered official
16) If you are inquiring if games have been cancelled due to weather conditions, call the RCRC at (419)666-2905 after 4:30pm
17) If baseball caps are worn, they must be worn with visor facing forward
18) All players, except on deck player and coach must be in the enclosed dugout area
19) Only 4 homeruns per team per game. Anything after the 4 home runs will be considered an out
20) Only bats with 1.20 BPF will be allowed
21) Mercy Rule is 20 runs after 4, 15 after 5, and 10 after 6
22) Flip Flop Rule in effect to keep games on time
**THESE RULES ARE MEANT TO BE GUIDELINES BY WHICH THE LEAGUE IS TO BE GOVERNED. THEY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED IN THE INTEREST OF SPORTSMANSHIP & FAIR PLAY. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
