SUMMER THEATER

ABOUT THE PROGRAM 

The RCRC Youth Summer Theater Program is now accepting students for their productions of "Laffin' School" and "Laffin' School Reunion". The "Laffin' School" series is comprised of two one-act plays full of comedy and laughs. The RCRC Youth Summer Theater Workshop will begin accepting advanced registration through May 31st. The RCRC Summer Theater is a 6 week summer camp for children ages 7-14, who are interested in all aspects of theater.

During the first two weeks, the students will learn about things such as set design, set construction, costuming, make-up, lighting, sound, theater terms, and acting. The final four weeks the students are hard at work putting together performances that will be performed in front of the community on Friday July 16, 2009 at 7:30pm in the RHS auditorium. The workshop will be limited to the first 30 students. For more information call (419)666-2905. All registration will take place at the Rossford Community Recreation Center. There are several roles for boys and girls, and there will be no singing required! Auditions for speaking roles will be held on Thursday, June 10th, which is the first week of classes.

Mon– Thurs: Session I (Ages 7-10)  10-12pm

                       Session II (Ages 11- 14)  1-3 pm         

Advance Registration: Now through May 31,2010 (Each child registering during this time will receive a t- shirt)

· Registration will be taken until the first day of class ( so you may want to register early!)

· Fee: $60 members & passholders/$90 nonmembers
