FALL TRAVEL SOCCER LEAGUE (NEW PROGRAM) 

In an effort to improve and expand upon youth soccer opportunities for the kids of Rossford, the Rossford Recreation Department in association with both the Boys & Girls Varsity Soccer Coaches at Rossford High School have decided to partner with the ESSL (Eastern Suburban Soccer League) for the Fall 2010 Soccer season.  This program will consist of expanded opportunities to participate as we offer more age groups than ever before, and it will add an exciting new aspect to the game, travelling to surrounding cities for fresh competition!  The Rossford Recreation Department will continue to offer “in-house” (non-travel) leagues for 4 to 6 year olds, while switching to the travel format for 7 to 14 year olds.   Below is some information regarding the league.  If you have more questions, feel free to contact Ivan at (419)666-2905.

TRAVEL SOCCER LEAGUE INFORMATION

Open to Boys & Girls, ages 7 to 14

Age Groups-Age children are on July 31, 2010 determines their age group

U-8 Division          7 vs 7                     Games played geographically close-Northwood, Oregon, Lake, etc

U-10 Division       9 vs 9                     Games played geographically close-Northwood, Oregon, Lake, etc

U-12 Division       11 vs 11                 Games played close and farther away too (Port Clinton, Oak Harbor, Fremont)

U-14 Division       11 vs 11                 Games played close and farther away too (Port Clinton, Oak Harbor, Fremont)

*If short on registrations, girls can play on boys teams and kids may also play up an age group

$36 members/$54 nonmembers

Plus a once a year $9 registration fee paid to SAY(renewable annually)

Registration Deadline:  Friday July 23, 2010

Games played between August 30, 2010 and October 8, 2010 (days vary depending on opponent and field availability)

12 Game season-6 home games/6 away games
